Our story began in the heart of Kathmandu, where a passion for brownies and cheesecakes evolved into Kharayo Bakes, Nepal’s most loved bakery brand. What started as an online brownie venture grew into a full-fledged bakery and café loved by thousands — built on taste, honesty, and creativity.
Now, that same heart has found a new home in Australia.

Sayuj Shrestha (Sj) — Founder, Dreamer & Storyteller
An entrepreneur from Nepal who built Kharayo Bakes from the ground up, Sayuj is the mind and heart behind Burrow Baking. His journey — from selling handmade goods in Sydney markets to building a cross-continental bakery brand — reflects pure determination, creativity, and resilience.
Saurab Dangol (Rob)— Co-Founder & Culinary Partner
With deep roots in F&B and operational management, Saurab brings structure and discipline to the dream. Together, they balance vision with execution — ensuring that every decision, recipe, and detail aligns with the brand’s heart: to serve happiness in every bite.
